Moray is a set of circular terraces cut into the ground, with several degrees of temperature difference between the top ring and the floor; the Incas are thought to have used them to adapt crops to different climates. The Maras salt pans are more than three thousand salt pools fed by a salty spring that has run since before the Incas, and families from the community still work them today.
Yes. Children aged 0–3 travel free and don't count toward the group tier; ages 4–11 pay the child rate of your group's tier, and from 12 they pay the adult rate.
No. Moray is covered by the Cusco Tourist Ticket, so you need one to enter: the Circuit III partial ticket costs S/70 and also covers Pisac, Ollantaytambo and Chinchero, while the full ticket costs S/130. You buy it in cash and in soles at the gate or at the Cusco office. The Maras salt pans charge their own entrance, and that one is included in your tour.
