At 9:00am, travelers will be picked up from their hotel to begin a full day discovering the very best of Lima — from its colonial soul to its modern spirit. The adventure begins in the Historic Center, one of the most beautiful areas in the city, where every building whispers stories from centuries past. The first stop is San Martín Square, framed by grand republican architecture and landmarks such as the Gran Hotel Bolívar, the Twin Towers, and the Colón Theater. From there, travelers will stroll along the legendary Union Street, once one of Lima’s most aristocratic avenues, leading straight into the heart of the city: the Main Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site surrounded by colonial splendor, home to the Government Palace, the Cathedral of Lima, the Archbishop’s Palace, and the City Hall. Before moving on, a visit to the remarkable San Francisco Monastery awaits, where travelers will descend into its historic underground Catacombs to uncover fascinating tales from the colonial era.
After exploring the Historic Center, travelers will enjoy a pleasant tourist lunch at a carefully selected local restaurant — the perfect pause before diving into modern Lima. At 2:00pm, the charming Love Park in Miraflores will welcome them with sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean and its dramatic coastal cliffs. The journey continues to the elegant district of San Isidro, home to El Olivar Park, a peaceful green oasis surrounded by centuries-old olive trees. Travelers will then discover Barranco, Lima’s bohemian and artistic soul, wandering its colorful streets and crossing the iconic Bridge of Sighs. The day comes to a close with breathtaking panoramic views from Morro Solar in Chorrillos, before returning to the hotel around 5:30pm.
Meals: Breakfast (With Hotel option), Local Lunch Overnight: Lima
At 8:00am, travelers will be picked up for a cozy ride toward Ica, a true pearl in the middle of the desert where striking landscapes set the tone for the days ahead. By 11:00am, the adventure begins at Tacama, Peru’s oldest winery and a name synonymous with expertise and tradition in South American winemaking. A guided tour through its vineyards will be followed by a tasting session, bringing this living history to life.
Around noon, travelers will sit down for lunch at one of the most popular restaurants in the country — considered the best in all of Ica (lunch not included) — for a truly memorable local meal. In the early afternoon, the wine experience continues with a second tasting session, deepening travelers’ appreciation for the region’s celebrated pisco and wine culture.
At 3:30pm, the journey continues to Huacachina, a shimmering oasis cradled by immense sand dunes in the heart of the desert. Here, adrenaline takes over with an exhilarating buggy ride across the dunes, followed by a thrilling sandboarding session. As the afternoon winds down around 4:30pm, travelers will have free time to relax and take in one of the most spectacular sunsets in Peru.
Meals: Breakfast (With Hotel option) Overnight: Ica
Day two in Ica begins at 7:00am at El Chaco Port in Paracas, where a boat will be waiting as the sun rises over the horizon. This marks the start of an unforgettable journey to the world-famous Ballestas Islands, an archipelago teeming with wildlife — sea lion colonies, thousands of seabirds, and, with a bit of luck, penguins, dolphins, or even whales. This approximately 1.5-hour adventure will conclude back at the shore around 10:30am.
From the ocean to the land, the vast Paracas National Reserve awaits exploration. This natural formation, some 35 million years old, is home to an incredible variety of wildlife, and the fossils scattered across its soil bear witness to its extraordinary origins. Ancient Peruvians, dating back to 700 BCE, left traces of their civilization across this peninsula — a striking reminder of how nature and geology have shaped human history and belief.
Around 1:00pm, travelers will stop at the Paracas boardwalk for lunch, with the chance to sample local delicacies (lunch not included). Afterward, the journey back to Lima begins — a relaxed ride back to the city for a well-deserved rest.

After a stop for lunch, the journey continues to Ollantaytambo, the last living Inca town, where narrow cobbled streets and an imposing archaeological complex still preserve their original layout — one of the finest examples of Inca engineering.
In the late afternoon, travelers will make their way to the Ollantaytambo train station to board their train toward Aguas Calientes, gateway to Machu Picchu, enjoying a scenic ride alongside the Urubamba River. Upon arrival, travelers will be welcomed and transferred to their hotel, where they can settle in and rest ahead of the following day’s big adventure.

The journey continues to Moray, a striking site of concentric circular terraces once used by the Incas as a natural agricultural laboratory for crop experimentation. From there, travelers will head to the Maras Salt Mines, home to more than 3,000 salt pools that have been in continuous use since pre-Inca times, fed by natural saline springs flowing down the mountainside.
The day continues with a stop in Urubamba for lunch, followed by time to enjoy the charm of the Sacred Valley before heading back to Cusco in the late afternoon.

The tour continues to the outskirts of the city, where the Sacsayhuamán Archaeological Park impresses with its massive stone walls, followed by Q’enqo and its ceremonial huaca, Tambomachay with its ceremonial fountains, and finally Puka Pukara, a former military fortress offering sweeping panoramic views.
